Technical Information of our Perforated Roller Shutters
Our steel roller shutters are custom-made in our own production facility and consist of robust steel constructions with matching brackets for mounting the rolling mechanism and bearings. Galvanised steel guide rails are fitted to the construction, ensuring smooth movement of the shutter curtain.
The curtain is composed of roll-formed, fully galvanised steel slats measuring 95 mm × 0.9 mm or 95 mm × 1.1 mm. The slats feature micro-perforations with a diameter of 3.6 mm. For shutters with a width of up to approximately 6 metres, 0.9 mm slats are used. For wider openings, the stronger 1.1 mm slats are applied to minimise deflection and ensure structural stability.
The curtain rolls onto a steel shaft and can be fitted with a galvanised steel housing. All steel components are available in all RAL colours.
Operation is provided via a key switch, rotary switch or remote control. Additional operating options are available upon request.
Perforated roller shutters are available in a WK3 (RC3) security classification and have been tested in accordance with EN 1627.
