Bar dimensions, spacing and material thickness are defined per project based on opening width, required rigidity and usage intensity. For wider openings, reinforced bottom profiles and strengthened guide rails are applied to maintain stability during operation.
The grille runs in steel or aluminium guide channels designed to absorb lateral forces while ensuring smooth vertical movement. The system rolls onto a steel shaft, with shaft diameter and motor torque calculated according to curtain weight and opening size.
Depending on the application, roll-up grilles can be operated manually or motorised. Motor selection is based on cycle frequency and integration requirements with building management or access control systems.
All visible components can be powder coated in any RAL colour. Roll-up grilles are manufactured in accordance with applicable European standards and supplied with CE marking and compliance with EN 13241. Final resistance and performance characteristics depend on the specific project configuration.
