The shutter curtain is manufactured from galvanised steel slats in which square openings are punched. Unlike micro-perforated systems, these larger cut-outs require specific attention to slat geometry and material stiffness to maintain rigidity across wider openings.
Slat thickness, punching pattern, and spacing are defined per project to control deflection and ensure stable operation during daily use. The curtain runs in reinforced guide rails designed to absorb lateral forces while maintaining smooth vertical movement.
The punched shutter curtain rolls up onto a steel shaft, with torque and shaft diameter calculated according to curtain weight and opening width. Where required, the system can be fitted with a steel hood for façade integration. All steel components can be finished in any RAL colour.
Operation is manual or motorised, depending on size and usage frequency. Punched roller shutters are manufactured in accordance with applicable European standards and supplied with CE marking. Final resistance and performance characteristics depend on the project configuration.
